Christopher Atkins may not have that trademark curly hair anymore, but he's still as handsome as it gets!
The beloved Blue Lagoon star, 64, who starred alongside Brooke Shields in the iconic 1980 film, rose to superstardom thanks to his role in the movie. He and Shields portrayed two teens who were marooned on a tropical island as children, and then grew up and fell in love. Shields went on to appear on the popular '80s TV show, Dallas.
These days, Atkins is doing better than ever. He shared a fun photo on his Instagram page on Sunday that showed he's still got those rugged good looks that made him famous. The actor hit the trail for a hike and smiled brightly for the camera. While the curls are gone, the blonde hair is still as strong as ever!
"Had a great hike today. Started snowing at the start then some blue skies and sleet as I got to the car. Got a good sweat and was a beautiful hike. Got fresh beef at Laurel Ridge grass fed beef and fresh milk and chocolates from Thorncrest Farms," the actor wrote.

Late last year, Atkins joined Shields on her Now What? podcast and talked about how a movie like Blue Lagoon, which had extensive nudity, “wouldn’t be allowed” to be made these days.
“You were right next to me, and that was even stranger because you were only 14 at the time,” Atkins said, Entertainment Weekly reported. “There were scenes that I was butt-naked with you, if you remember, sliding down that slide and things like that. And that was a little awkward, but it was kind of funny for me because, at this point, I just did it. But your reaction was, ‘Ugh, oh God.'”
“I was like, ‘Oh God, why do I have to look at this?'” Shields recalled. “‘I’ve never seen one of those before, and I’m not going to start now!'”

Atkins isn’t shying away from the camera these days either. He’s featured in Playgirl‘s July 2025 issue, Parade previously reported.
