Jason Isaacs is a proud movie dad — at least, off-screen.
Lucius Malfoy wasn't exactly the fuzziest of fathers to young Draco in the Harry Potter films back in the day, but it's the clear the polar opposite is true when it comes to the stars' dynamic in real life.
Isaacs, 62, showed lots of love for Tom Felton in seeing him return to the infamous role of Draco after 14 years for the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Broadway show in New York.
After the performance, Isaacs took to social media to share photos of him alongside Felton, 38, and used his post's caption to pay a sweet tribute to the performer. After all, the pair shared many emotionally intense scenes across multiple Potter installments years earlier.
"I came. I saw. He conquered," Isaacs' Instagram post reads. "You had your own giant boots to fill, son, and you burst them at the seams. Balls like ostrich eggs. So brave. So proud. So glad to be there."

Felton made his Broadway debut on Tuesday, Nov. 11 while reprising Draco for The Cursed Child. He famously played the villainous character in all eight of the Harry Potter films from 2001 to 2011, serving as an antagonist for the movies' main trio: Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson).
The Cursed Child is set nearly 20 years later from where the books and the movies left off. While stepping out on stage for the first time at Lyric Theater in New York City on Tuesday, Felton was met with a roar of applause from the crowd.
