After a five-year break from Bravo’s The Real Houesewives of Orange County, Heather Dubrow discussed her decision to return to the franchise during a panel appearance at Bravocon 2025.
During the panel, Dubrow explained her reason for coming back, saying, “My allyship is so important to me.”
On the show, Dubrow has spoken about her family’s support for their LGBTQ members, noting that several of her children identify within the community.
Dubrow recalled that when production first approached her about returning, “Well when they asked me I laughed.”
She added that after discussing it with her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, she realized the impact her return could have. “I think we can use this platform for good,” she said. “I think we can show our very normal family and maybe hopefully start some conversations in other people’s homes.”
“I think we’ve been able to do that,” Dubrow said, adding, “I’m really thrilled to be here.”
