Dominic Harrison, better known as Yungblud, is canceling the rest of his shows for the year. The British rocker, 28, took to his Instagram Stories to break the news to fans in a lengthy text post.
The announcement comes two days after Harrison shared a cryptic message about his health in his fan channel. "I will explain," he said in the message. "It's something to do with my health, please just give me a couple days."
Fans and followers got more clarity from the Instagram Stories post on Nov. 15.
"This week when I got home off then road and went to have some tests done (like I usually do), my voice and blood tests have raised some concerns," the Ozzy Osbourne protégé wrote. Under doctor's orders, Yungblud is taking a break from touring until the end of the year.
"I'm so sorry to do this," the rock star said, revealing the shows in Philadelphia, Cleveland, Washington, Mexico City, and Latin America are no longer happening.
"It is in my nature to run and run until I run myself to the ground without giving a f--k about anything apart from the music and you guys," he added. "But this time I've been told I have to take it seriously and I can't f--k around."
It's unclear what health concerns Harrison's bloodwork raised, but lasting damage could be a problem if he were to keep touring. Fans are being refunded the money for their tickets and Harrison shared a link where fans can sign up to have a gift sent their way.
"I just want you to know that this is so hard for me to do but I promise I will make it up to you," the Zombie singer concluded. "USA, I will see you next year. It's gonna be unbelievable. I can't wait."
In the meantime, fans can listen to new music from Yungblud and Aerosmith. The EP One More Time releases Nov. 21.
