Actress Adrianne Palicki appeared in the third season of the hit WB show, Smallville, which had a 10-season run until 2011.
In Smallville Season 3, Episode 22, Palicki appeared as a character named Lindsay Harrison, who believes she is Clark Kent's (Tom Welling) biological Kryptonian cousin Kara Zor-El. The episode begins with Lindsay appearing at the Kent's farm without wearing any clothes.
Palicki spoke about her experience working on the series in a December 2023 episode of the Inside of You podcast, hosted by Smallville star Michael Rosenbaum, who played Lex Luthor during the show's first seven seasons. During the podcast episode, Palicki shared that the Smallville episode was one of her first paying jobs as an actress.
In addition, Palicki said she felt uncomfortable during her first day on set because of Lindsay's lack of clothes.
"The first day on set I had to be in pasties and a thong walking through the woods in Vancouver. And I want to say it was like October or November. It was freaking cold but I was also like, 'Hey crew here's me naked.' Including Tom who had to open the door and like literally was looking anywhere but at me. He was so uncomfortable," said the actress on the podcast.
Rosenbaum then said that the crew had complimented Palicki's personality.
"I remember just hearing how cool you were and what a sport you were and how fun, funny you were," said the actor on his podcast.
While recording Rosenbaum's podcast, Palicki said that his presence made her feel more comfortable shooting the 2004 episode of Smallville. She explained that she had previously met Rosenbaum before filming the episode.
Palicki also shared that she's only watched Smallville Season 3, Episode 22 once.
"It was when it aired and my managers put together kind of a little screening party," said the actress in the interview.
She said she didn't love the Smallville screening because she would rather not watch her performances, "especially in front of other people."
"Definitely not for the first time," explained Palicki.
Following her stint on Smallville, Palicki appeared in popular projects like Supernatural, Friday Night Lights, John Wick, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Doctor Odyssey, per IMDb.
