DJ Moore has been dinged up all year long. And an appearance on the injury report with a DNP next to his name on Wednesday to start the practice week might have raised some concern levels among Chicago Bears fans. However, the wideout made it clear that he will be suiting up for the team’s upcoming game against the Minnesota Vikings:

This has been an odd year for Bears wide receiver DJ Moore. The 28-year-old wideout has 30 catches, 40 receiving yards, and one touchdown reception to his name this season. Moore also has 12 carries, 54 rushing yards, and one score on the ground. Oh, and he also has a passing touchdown to his credit this season. If you would have told me that DJ Moore would have had the same number of rushing, passing, and receiving touchdowns afer nine games this season, I’d be very confused.
But more concerning than his 2025 production is the time DJ Moore has spent on the injury report. He hasn’t missed a game yet this season. But seeing Moore as a fixture on the injury report is still unsettling. That he hasn’t missed a game speaks to Moore’s ability and willingness to gut it out. Kudos to him. Hopefully, he is as healthy as can be for the stretch run because this offense can use all the help it can get.

I suppose the good news here is that it does not seem like we have to worry about DJ Moore’s status for Sunday’s game. Phew! With that being said, there are some updates worth keeping tabs on when the Bears drop Friday’s injury report later today.
For instance, the status of safety Jaquan Brisker is up-in-the-air. Brisker has missed the last two practices beause of a back injury. But if he can give it a go on Friday, I’ll feel good about his odds of playing on Sunday. Linebacker T.J. Edwards seems to be a wild-card, too. Edwards had surgery to repair a broken hand and has been dealing with a hamstring injury. I’m not sure he can go from missing last week’s game and sitting out practice Wednesday and Thursday to playing on Sunday. But if he can pull it off, then I’m here for it.
