Tom Bergeron's recent comments about Dancing With the Starschamp Bobby Bones has gotten him banned from the Mostly Sports podcast. The news was shared via a post uploaded on the official Instagram feed for the Mark Titus and Brandon Walker hosted podcast.
"Former Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron has been BANNED FOR LIFE from Mostly Sports for comments disparaging our friend Bobby Bones," read the post's caption.
Fans had mixed reactions to the news, some supporting Bergeron and others saying that Titus and Walker were doing the right thing by showing support to their friend, Bones.

"It's funny you’re asking about eliminations. The thing that shocked me most was a win. Bobby Bones," he replied. "It’s like Andy Richter this season. He’s charming and has such a big heart. Do I think he’s going to win? No. Do I think he’s bringing a quality to the show that epitomizes what the show is? Absolutely. But Bobby Bones was the first time it was like, ‘Ouch.’ No disrespect to Bobby. He would probably say the same thing."
The comments weren't super well received by Bones, who ended up returning his Mirrorball Trophy to ABC after hearing Bergeron's take.
"This was hurtful, and not because of what was said, but really who said it," Bones said on Instagram on Nov. 12. "What was I supposed to do on that show? I didn't even want to be on the show."
"I had a great attitude, I worked hard and here we are six years later, I'm still catching strays out of nowhere, so I sent the trophy back. They don't want me to be a part of the show, obviously," Bobby continued. "I no longer have the Mirrorball trophy. I loved my time there, but I would say things like this… taking random shots this week [has] taken all the joy out of my time on the show."

Bergeron, who hosted Dancing With the Stars for 28 seasons, previously issued Bones an apology.
"Sorry, Bobby. Sometimes I should fall back on my mime training," Bergeron captioned an Instagram post on Nov. 12. He also included a screenshot of an apology that he sent directly to Bones.
The decision to ban Bergeron from the Mostly Sports podcast came one day after Bergeron's apology post.
