Little Debbie is reportedly introducing a brand-new snack to its lineup—and it's already being dubbed a "dream release."
According to a Nov. 13 social media post by trusted food blog Snackolator, the snack brand is gearing up to release Banana Puddin' Cream Pies in the coming months, and the announcement is stirring up excitement.
The "fluffy" iteration of its iconic Oatmeal Cream Pies is said to feature "a banana pudding creme between two cakes that should be similar flavor to Nilla Wafers," though, for now, "the info is speculative," according to the post.
"This might be a dream release for many out there!" the caption of the Instagram upload raved. "I've seen iterations of this posted over the last year from fake product accounts, but now it's about to become reality in mid-January."
Apparently, a few different versions of the rumored treat had been spread around social media for quite some time; this is the first occasion where any previous speculation has been made semi-official.
Parade reached out to the brand's parent company for comment, however, a representative was not immediately available.

"Oh my goodness," one said, while another added, "OH YES."
A third joked, "Big Deborah better not mess these up ?."
More excited would-be shoppers came by to add things like, "Can't wait to try," "I’m so here for this!!!!!" "Ummm I need this," "I NEED!!!" and "sounds good."
Some fans, meanwhile, compared Little Debbie's Banana Puddin' Cream Pies to the company's Banana Twins, a cult-favorite treat that's no longer available.
"Welcome back, Banana Twins ?," one quipped, with a direct response hypothesizing, "these won't be anything like them unfortunately."
Someone else had a similar thought, as they added, "I suppose this will be a sufficient replacement for my beloved BANANA TWINS."
"BANANA TWINS OR NOTHING," a third demanded.
Little Debbie's Banana Twins were originally released in 1965, making them one of the company's earliest snack cakes. The handheld delights were discontinued in 2022, due to low sales volume and "lack of interest."
After taking a look at the official Little Debbie website, it seems that the brand is doubling down on its cream pie offerings. We found another sweet treat released earlier this year that debuted a cross between the Oatmeal Cream Pie and the iconic, peanut-buttery Nutty Buddy that's available now: Soft Baked Nutty Buddy Cream Pies.
