ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A 15-year-old boy was hit by a car while crossing the road in Rochester on Thursday night.
Police said the incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Portland Avenue and Stevens Street.
Investigators said the teenager was not in a designated crosswalk when he was struck.
The boy was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he is expected to be OK.
Rochester Police Department officials said the driver remained at the scene. No charges or tickets are expected.
