Brad Paisley is getting Jimmy Fallon into the holiday spirit.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show on Wednesday, Nov. 12, the country music superstar surprised the crowd with an "impromptu" performance of one his brand-new holiday songs.

Brad Paisley Sings New Holiday Song 'Lit' During The Tonight Show
While visiting Fallon's show on Tuesday, Paisley unexpectedly pulled out his guitar during the interview before introducing his holiday song, "Lit," off his latest Christmas album, Snow Globe Town.
Paisley, 53, began to sing the catchy holiday tune while strumming along on guitar, delighting fans with the song's comical and witty lyrics.
View this post on InstagramPaisley made the audience erupt with laughter over the song's first few lines about family members and in-laws visiting for the holidays, while he sang, "This Christmas is going to be a nightmare."
He continued singing, "Well, my brother-in-law hit an 8-point buck / And threw it in the back of his truck / And told the children it was Rudolph," eliciting even more laughter from the crowd.
"Now they're all cryin', he's just laughin' / My wife ran out and said, 'What just happened?' / And I just went inside to look for Smirnoff."
Moving into the chorus, Paisley sang, "Cause we put up a tree, string up the lights / So much for silent night / Never mind the eggnog, pass me that fifth / Between now and New Year's Eve when these people finally leave / Me and that Christmas tree /We're both gonna be lit."
"His voice and the song are lit ? the lyrics are so funny ??" one fan wrote under an Instagram clip of the "impromptu" performance.
"Absolutely awesome," another person commented, while another said the country crooner "knows how to put a smile on your face" with his music.
Brad Paisley Releases New 16-Song Christmas Album
Paisley's late-night appearance on Wednesday comes less than a week after he released the new holiday album, Snow Globe Town, on Friday, Nov. 7.
The 16-track album features a mixture of original songs and everyone's Christmas tunes, including "The Christmas Song," "Jingle Bell Rock" and "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town."
The country crooner even puts his own spin on "My Favorite Things," reimagining the iconic Sound of Music track, along with more classics like "The First Noel" and "O Holy Night."
