Tyquan Ruther was sentenced in Monroe County Court to one year in jail for criminally negligent homicide after punching Jovan Lucas in the head outside a Hudson Avenue barbershop in August 2024. Lucas later died.
Ruther previously served prison time for a shooting on Joseph Avenue and drug charges in 2019.
