Our #10 ranked diver in the class of 2026, Hayden Ferenc has flipped her commitment from Alabama to Florida State for the fall of 2026.
After a ton of thought and consideration, I have decided to switch my commitment to dive at Florida State University. Thank you to everyone who has helped me through this process. I am so excited for the next four years! Go Noles

Ferenc is from Fort Lauderdale Florida, where she is currently a senior at Fort Lauderdale High School. At last weekend’s FHSAA 3A Region 4 Championship, Ferenc won the 1-meter diving event with a score of 495.65. This is 10 points higher than the 485.15 she scored at the same meet last year.
Last year, we ranked her as the #10 recruit in the class due to her platform skill and springboard potential.
She originally committed to dive at Alabama, but will be joining the Florida State Seminoles instead in the coming fall.
Florida State is in the ACC, and their women’s team was 7th at the 2025 ACC Conference Championships. They scored 467 total points, 139 of which came from their divers.
Almost all of those points came from Grad students Kayleigh Clark and Samantha Vear and senior Isabel Gregersen. Clark is still on the team this year as a redshirt senior, but this will be her last season while Vear and Gregersen have both graduated. They currently have four divers on their roster.
Ferenc will join a recruiting class with Samantha Villacis and Sofia Jorge.
