Fantasy Football TE Rankings, Who Should I Add Off Waiver Wires:

Cade Otton (Buccaneers) was one of the highest recommended TE waiver wire pickup this week.

Analysis

Cade Otton, Buccaneers — Rostered in 41% of Yahoo Leagues (Suggested 4-6% FAAB Bid)

If it weren’t for Cade Otton’s Week 11 matchup, he might be one of the highest priority adds of the week, as he has become a quietly reliable volume tight end with the injuries to Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Otton has scored at least six fantasy points in five straight games and hit season highs with nine catches for 82 yards on 12 targets this past Sunday against New England.

As he has many times before, the Bucs tight end has stepped up to be a top outlet for the passing game with regular starters missing time, and he has one of the highest floors at the position outside of the top tier. As for that Week 11 matchup, Otton gets the Bills, who have smothered tight ends all season. I’d rather stream someone else next Sunday, but Otton should be startable more weeks than not if you’ve been streaming at tight end.

Recommendation: Should be added in 12-team leagues

Who are the best stashes from the Fantasy Football TE Rankings?

Dalton Schultz (Texans) is the best tight end stash ahead of Week 11.

Analysis

Dalton Schultz @ Titans (35%)

If Dalton Schultz’s last month of action instead came in the first four games, there’s no doubt in my mind that he’d be rostered in well over 50% of leagues. The TE10 since Week 7 (10.8 FPPG), Schultz has stepped up while his wide receivers have either missed entirely or been uninspiring when on the field. He has averaged six receptions and 63 yards on eight targets and finally found the end zone last week, ending a drought that has lasted since Week 16 of last season.

While his 14.8-point performance did come with Davis Mills at the helm, Schultz has still hit at least six targets in five out of eight games with C.J. Stroud getting the start, so it’s not as if this was purely tied to the backup QB. With Jayden Higgins (1.10 YPRR), Christian Kirk (1.06), and Xavier Hutchinson (0.87) struggling to provide consistent production with their usage, Schultz should continue to provide a solid fantasy floor as the No. 2 pass-catching option behind Nico Collins. He is available in 65% of Yahoo leagues.
