Fantasy Football WR Rankings, Who Should I Add Off Waiver Wires:

Troy Franklin (Broncos) was the highest recommended WR waiver wire pickup this week.

    Analysis

Troy Franklin, Broncos — Rostered in 54% of Yahoo Leagues (Suggested 9-10% FAAB Bid)

Troy Franklin has been a bit of an enigma the last month or so. He’s logged between eight and 10 targets in four straight games, but has averaged just 4.5 catches for 43.8 yards over that span. However, he’s also snagged four touchdowns in those four games, thanks to a team-high seven red-zone targets. In fact, he’s posted a monster 41.2% target rate in the red zone the last four weeks, clearly evolving into Bo Nix’s favorite target in that area of the field … if not everywhere on the field.

Since Week 7, he’s scored 54.1 fantasy points, while Courtland Sutton has just 35.8 points with fewer than seven targets in four straight games. We may not be quite ready to say Franklin has supplanted Sutton as the WR1, but he’s certainly stepped up to be more of a 1B, and has become highly flex-able as a result. He should be rostered everywhere and can be started in most leagues with several weeks of byes still remaining.

Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Who are the best stashes from the Fantasy Football WR Rankings?

Luther Burden (Bears) and Christian Watson (Packers) present some of the best wide receiver stashes ahead of Week 11.

    Analysis

Luther Burden, WR – Bears (6%)

We still haven’t seen a ton from Luther Burden through much of the season, but he did just notch his third 50-yard performance of the year. Though not as impressive as his 101-yard Week 3 performance, which included a massive 65-yard flea-flicker score, it did come in a game where D.J. Moore left with a shoulder sprain and Olamide Zaccheaus crapped the proverbial bed with multiple drops.

After leaving Week 8 and missing Week 9 due to a concussion, Burden saw the highest route participation of his young career (46.3%). Though it’s not an eye-popping number, it could point toward a further reliance on the Bears’ younger options (see: Colston Loveland, Kyle Monangai), particularly if Moore ends up sidelined. Burden could be viewed as a WR3/4 as early as Week 11; he’s certainly performed at that level through his minimal usage.

Christian Watson, WR – Packers (32%)

Christian Watson delivered his third 45+ yard performance in his third game back from a torn ACL, though he also replicated his two-catch performance from the week prior, which has kept a hard ceiling on his fantasy performances. These are the kind of roll-of-the-dice performances you’ll get out of the deep-threat, which is why he was always such a massive target in the best ball streets.

On the positive side, his week-to-week route participation jumped from 59.5% to 68.4% to 81.0%, and that could stay steady as disappointing rookie Matthew Golden is now nursing a shoulder injury that could either push him down the rotation or off the field entirely, while Romeo Doubs left Week 10 with a chest injury. Watson, who had 12 touchdowns through his first two seasons (20 games), also gets a considerable boost in touchdown equity with TE Tucker Kraft now out for the season.
