Fantasy Football RB Rankings Week 11: Best Starts at Running Back

Fantasy Football Expert Justin Edwards looks at the current Fantasy Football RB rankings and projections for Week 11.

“After ten weeks of NFL action, there are a number of surprises in the football landscape, and the fantasy football RB rankings are reflecting that.”

Fantasy Football RB Rankings, Who Should I Add Off Waiver Wires:

Tyjae Spears (Titans) was the highest-recommended RB waiver wire pickup this week.

     Analysis

Tyjae Spears, Titans — Rostered in 36% of Yahoo Leagues (Suggested 5-6% FAAB Bid)

Coming out of his Week 10 bye, Tyjae Spears remains just as desirable an add as he was a week ago — but he’s more available than he was then, after being dropped in a handful of leagues. As I noted last week, he’s had 9+ touches in four straight games and has been efficient with those touches. He scored 15.7 fantasy points in Week 8 and 7.7 in Week 9. Spears could simply play his way into more touches alongside Tony Pollard (though Pollard has also been decent in recent weeks), and he remains a good handcuff stash should Pollard suffer an injury.

An optimistic analyst might also suppose that the Titans get their offense going (to some degree) coming out of their bye, and that Spears gets an increased role down the stretch. This isn’t the best week for running backs, so the Tennessee back is atop the list but not a game-breaking priority.

Recommendation: Should be added in 12-team leagues

Who are the best stashes from the Fantasy Football RB Rankings?

Blake Corum and Brian Robinson are the best running back stashes ahead of Week 11.

    Brian Robinson, RB – 49ers (24%)

Christian McCaffrey keeps chugging right along, but Brian Robinson has popped up for a drive or two more and more often, accounting for touchdowns in each of his last two games, and actually leading the team with his 41 yards in Week 10. How likely is this to turn into FLEX consideration over this second half of the year?

That’s still to be determined, but it’s noteworthy, as Isaac Guerendo and Jordan James are complete non-factors in the offense at this point, leaving all of the leftover work to Robinson and Robinson alone. If the 49ers end up taking the foot off the pedal with CMC —or if there’s simply an injury to the RB1— Robinson would be a massive waiver wire addition, even if he’s not likely to see a big boost to his pass-catching role.

Better to get out in front of it and stash Robinson away.

Blake Corum, RB – Rams (11%)

It feels like we’ve been doing this for years with Kyren Williams —at least since Blake Corum was taken in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft— but we may actually be seeing a significant split in the backfield. With Corum handling 13 more carries in Week 10, Williams now has handled 51.2% of the team’s carries over the last four games, down from the 66.7% rate he handled through Week 5.

The caveat here is that the Rams outscored their opponents 128-46 over those four games, so maybe it was all gamescript-dependent. But the team’s Week 8 bye was mixed in, so perhaps this is a slight change in philosophy. As it stands, Corum could be in desperation FLEX consideration if the Rams are massive favorites. With that said, he should be a main handcuff target for teams looking toward the playoffs.
