Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. will not play on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers because he underwent surgery for appendicitis on Monday, head coach Jonathan Gannon told reporters Wednesday.
“We’ll see,” Gannon said when asked whether Harrison will miss one week or more.
Additionally, Gannon said linebacker Mack Wilson Sr. will miss a second straight game with a ribs injury and edge rusher Baron Browning is in concussion protocol.
Wide receiver Simi Fehoko will go on injured reserve with an arm injury. Gannon previously said receiver Zay Jones was headed to injured reserve with a torn Achilles, so the wide receivers room will be stretched even further.
