Riley Keough Marks Paperback Release of Lisa Marie Presley's Autobiography From Here to the Great Unknown
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday to share the news, Keough—the eldest grandchild of Elvis Presley—announced that the paperback edition of From Here to the Great Unknown is officially out now.
Lisa Marie, Elvis' only daughter, started writing her memoir years ago, though she was unable to finish it before her tragic death at the age of 54 in January 2023.
Having already been enlisted by Lisa Marie one month earlier to help her write the book, the Daisy Jones & the Six actress finished her mother's work and published it last year.
Now, the paperback edition is giving a "new little life" to her mom's moving life story.

"I do wish she was here to have seen the overwhelming response her book. She would have been reading all of the comments and the dms about how many people related to her story in some way and found it to be cathartic."
"I’m excited for this new little life the book is having and for it to end up in more people’s hands who may have the same experience," Keough continued. "Thanks to everyone on her behalf for all of the love and support. @randomhouse."
Riley Keough Previously Said Finishing Her Mom's Book Was 'Incredibly Painful'
Prior to the release of the book last year, Keough opened up about the process of finishing the book after Lisa Marie's death, something she described as being "incredibly painful."
Since her mom had recorded memories in audio tapes while working on the project, Keough remembered being "so afraid to hear my mother's voice" as she combed through the stories Lisa Marie left behind.
"It was incredibly painful but I couldn’t stop," Keough wrote in the book's introduction. "It was like she was in the room, talking to me. I instantly felt like a child again and I burst into tears."
The book takes readers through a number of pivotal moments throughout Lisa Marie's life, including the experience of losing her dad, the King of Rock and Roll, when she was only 9 years old.
The book also covers Lisa Marie's romantic relationships, growing up with Priscilla Presleyas her mother, as well as the loss of her son, Benjamin Keough, in 2020.
From Here to the Great Unknown is now available in hardcover, audio and paperback editions.
