ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Knighthawks will be heading to Three Heads Brewing on Atlantic Avenue Thursday to host a kickoff event ahead of the 2025-26 regular season.
The event will take place from 3 – 6 p.m. Thursday at the brewery’s tasting room. Fans will get the chance to win Knighthawks tickets, merchandise, and other prizes. They will also get the chance to try the Knighthawk Hazy IPA.
The Knighthawk Hazy IPA has notes of mango, papaya, citrus, spice, and passion fruit. It will be available both on draft and in cans at the brewery. It also can be found at Wegmans locations in the Rochester area, on tap throughout the area, and in other stores that sell craft beer.
Knighthawks players Brad Gillies, Dan Coates, Ryland Rees, and Jake Piseno, as well as broadcaster Craig Rybczynski and Knighthawks President and General Manager Dan Carey will be at the event.
The Knighthawks will begin this season on the road, traveling to San Diego on Sunday, Dec. 14. The home opener is set for Saturday, Dec. 20, when they will host the Philadelphia Wings.
This season will be the first under the ownership of the Seneca Nation. It was announced in August that the Seneca Nation would be buying the team, after the Pegula family announced they would no longer be operating the team.
