Lambert marked her 42nd birthday on Monday, November 10, and McLoughlin was on hand to shower her with love on her special day. The retired NYPD police officer, 34, took to Instagram, penning his ladylove a thoughtful message while showcasing he had paid attention to a previous conversation they had.
“Happy Birthday to the most loving, talented, and caring person I’ve ever met @mirandalambert,” McLoughlin began in his message. “You had said yesterday that you read something that really resonated with you, ‘Don’t be afraid to be a beginner.’ From following your dreams of becoming a cowgirl, to picking up golf and competing in the Ryder Cup. You show me every day how fearless you are, how willing you are to jump into things even if it may take you out of your comfort zone.”
“The world is a better place because of you,” the New York native continued before closing out his message with the words: “I love you, and I hope you have an amazing birthday. 42 looks good on you.??.”
“Thanks, honey, I love you,” Lambert cutely responded to her husband’s note, which also included a carousel of photos dedicated to the award-winning Texan.
The first snapshot shows Lambert riding a horse — a hobby she started as an adult.
“I didn’t start riding a horse until I was 30 years old,” Lambert previously shared while on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast. “I wish I had started at four when I was fearless. But, starting at 30, you’re getting on this giant animal and not knowing what you’re doing. My trainer at the time told me I needed to do pilates. I started pilates, and it really helped me stabilize myself a little bit.”
Other snapshots, meanwhile, feature Lambert trying new foods, fishing while on a boat, and golfing. She and McLoughlin are also pictured together onstage during what appears to be rehearsals for a concert performance.

Sparks first flew for Lambert and McLoughlin in 2018 when they met in New York while the “Kerosene” star was making an appearance on ABC’s Good Morning America. After a whirlwind romance, they exchanged vows in a low-key ceremony in 2019.
