Actor and comedian Kumail Nanjiani is sharing a heartwarming update after announcing his and his wife, writer and producer Emily V. Gordon's beloved cat, Bagel, had passed away in September.
In a November 10 Instagram upload, Nanjiani shared that he and Gordon adopted a 5-month-old kitten. features several pictures of the cat with her new owners.
"World, say hello to Biscuit. She is 5 months old and stupid gorgeous, as you can tell. She’s also extremely high energy and affectionate; she sleeps on me every single night," read the caption of the post. "We still miss Bagel of course. Every single day. But I am very excited to grow old with this little ball of absurdity and love."
The Silicon Valley star also warned his Instagram followers to "Get used to seeing pictures of her all the time."
Gordon also introduced her Instagram followers to her new cat in a separate November 10 post.
"This is Biscuit. Biscuit loves water, toys, taking naps in very small spaces, and snuggling. None of her socks match. From the second she looked at us, we were goners," wrote Gordon in the caption of the post.
In addition, she suggested that she and her husband adopted Biscuit from Kitt Crusaders by thanking the Los Angeles-based non-profit cat rescue.

"She was happy, carefree and totally herself till the very end. She’s been our tiny perfect angel for her entire life. It wasn’t enough time. But it’ll have to do. We will always love her. Bagel. August 2008 - September 2025."
