Dropping three of their last four, the Chicago Bulls have slipped on the sidewalk and landed face-first in a pile of fresh snow. Can they quickly warm themselves back up, or will they shiver their way to their third straight loss?
If one thing is for sure, I’m shivering! First winter storm of the year … and my heat is out.

— Chicago Bulls (@chicagobulls) November 10, 2025 Scoring on Wembanyama will be an entirely different challenge. The Bulls average the fourth-most points in the paint per game. No team takes a higher percentage of its shots at the rim (44.2 percent) than Billy Donovan’s crew. That doesn’t necessarily bode well against arguably the best rim protector and shot blocker in the league. The Bulls may have to rely more than normal on the three-point line tonight, or they will have to cross their fingers that they can get Wembanyama in some foul trouble. At the end of the day, we can talk about controlling Wemby all we want … it probably will not matter at all. He is the type of player who will likely do whatever he wants, and the Bulls might be better off focusing on slowing down his supporting cast. This includes All-Star De’Aaron Fox, who made his season debut against the Pelicans and dropped 24 points on 9-13 shooting. Can the quick and pesky Tre Jones keep up with him? Will Ayo Dosunmu be off a minutes restriction and be allowed to chase him around? Could Isaac Okoro see time on Fox? One thing the Bulls and Spurs have in common to start the year is their unselfishness. While San Antonio may not be the same extremely efficient passing team, they do have eight players averaging 10+ points per game to start the year. Might that go down with Fox taking on a bigger offensive role? Sure. But it still goes to show that this is a talented and young group with a deep rotation of guys that can make an impact. The Bulls know well how deadly that can be. Of course, Josh Giddey’s status is also a huge deal. The guard tweaked his ankle against the Cavaliers and had to make his way back to the locker room. Fortunately, he was able to return for the remainder of the game, but there is no question he looked a bit hobbled. The Bulls now have him listed as questionable. Already without Coby White, not having Giddey would make this a massive uphill battle for the Bulls. Mandatory Credit: Kamil Krzaczynski-Imagn Images Tre Jones revenge game! The Spurs included the talented playmaker in the Zach LaVine deal, and all he’s done since is impress. Particularly when it comes to scoring around Wemby, I think Jones could be a massive help. He is smaller, shifty, and smart. He’s great at the drive and kick and the late dump-off passes in the paint. Keeping the Spurs and Wembanyama on a swivel will be essential to having a successful night offensively, and Jones is excellent at keeping things in motion. Does Jalen Smith have another big game in him? If any center on this roster can keep up with Wemby running the floor, it would be the lanky and agile Smith. He might also be able to drag the big man out of the post with his floor-spacing capabilities. Smith is now shooting 39.4 percent from long range to start the year, and he now has six games with 10+ points. Overall, despite playing only 15 minutes a night, he’s nearly averaging 10 points and 5 rebounds. He could make Billy Donovan’s decision hard once Zach Collins returns.JALEN SMITH IS HOOPING RN ?PERFECT from the field through 3 quarters ?18 PTS9 REB4/4 3P6/6 FG pic.twitter.com/I62ol8vwRI
