ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Two Eastman School of Music professors, as well as several graduates across a range of categories and genres have been nominated or Grammy awards.
Sara Gazarek, associate professor of jazz voice, is vocalist and arranger for Nate Smith & saje’, whose’s “Big Fish” recording, which was nominated for Best Arrangement, Instruments and Vocals.
Paul O’Dette, professor of lute, was conductor for the Boston Early Music Festival Orchestra for Telemann’s “Ino,” an album of opera arias for soprano which was nominated for Best Classical Solo Vocal Album.
