College football is full of polls nowadays, with there being three primary ranking systems that fans can digest each week.
The College Football Playoff ranking provides the most accurate outlook for a team’s postseason hopes, the AP Poll reflects what the media thinks of the sport while the Coaches Poll gives CFB’s leading voices a chance to share their thoughts.
Week 12’s Coaches Poll was revealed Sunday, and it featured 9 SEC teams and plenty of shakeup beyond the Top 7 remaining static.
Virginia (8 spots), Missouri (7 spots) and Louisville (6 spots) were the biggest fallers, while Pittsburgh (7 spots), Utah (4 spots) and Texas (3 spots) were the benefactors of chaos surrounding their bye weeks.
No new SEC teams dropped out of the poll or joined it, although five of them changed positions.

Notably, Oklahoma and Texas are tied in the 10th spot despite the Longhorns’ head-to-head win, which will likely give them the edge in the CFP rankings.
Also important to note is that Missouri remains a ranked win for everybody who has beaten the Tigers. Many teams will cheer for Mizzou to still be included when the new CFP rankings are released Tuesday.
