Jim Carrey reunited with his How the Grinch Stole Christmas co-star, Taylor Momsen, 25 years after the film at the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

On Saturday, Nov. 8, Carrey, 63, and Momsen, 32—who played Cindy Lou Who in the beloved 2000 holiday film—posed for photos together on the red carpet before heading into the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, Calif.

For the event, Momsen rocked a black dress featuring lace accents and a leg slit, wearing a black leather coat over it. She finished the look with black, calf-high boots, layered necklaces and dark eye makeup.

Carrey, meanwhile, opted for a black graphic T-shirt, a black-and-white striped blazer, black dress pants and dress shoes.

While on the red carpet for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Momsen told reporters, “We haven’t seen each other since the Grinch. Twenty-five!" per KNX News.

At the 205 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony itself, both Carrey and Momsen helped celebrate Soundgarden's induction. Carrey—who hosted the 1996 episode of Saturday Night Live in which Soundgarden was the musical guest—shared a tribute to officially induct the band.

Additionally, Momsen joined Brandi Carlile, Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready and Alice in Chains’ Jerry Cantrell to perform "Rusty Cage" and "Black Hole Sun." (Momsen's band, Pretty Reckless, opened for Soundgarden's final tour before Chris Cornell died in 2017.)

Recently, Momsen opened up about playing Cindy Lou Who when she was just 7.

“Jim Carrey is the Grinch,” Momsen said on the Nov. 5 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast. “So I didn’t know who Jim was until the premiere and someone had to point him out to me and go, ‘That’s Jim,’ and I went, ‘Oh, Jim.'”

Momsen later shared, "I get asked a lot if he scared me, because I think a lot of kids were scared of the Grinch,” she said. “He was never scary to me. To me, he was always Jim, and he was always in makeup."

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, the film will return to select theaters on Dec. 12 for a limited time.
