Country music singer Gabby Mooney -- the sister of Dan and Shay star Shay Mooney -- opened up about a near-death experience after suffering an intense headache.
"This one was so pounding that I could barely see the road, but I remember thinking, I’m just going to keep driving," Mooney told ABC’s Nightline correspondent Ashan Singh during a recent interview. "You’re going to feel so much better in your own bed. And I just wanted to make it home."
The "James Dean" singer explained that she was on her way home to Arkansas in 2023. After making it home, Mooney recalled being woken up by her mother in the middle of the night.

It was tornado weather, so the ambulances were not running. And so my dad and my mom they called a private ambulance company, and they met them at a Baptist church about a few miles up the road, so they could get me to the ER faster. I was having apparently multiple seizures in the ambulance."
Mooney later revealed that she had a brain cyst, explaining she "died."
"They were trying to intubate me, and I flatlined," she said. "It was just like, 'Not yet.' And I felt that, knowing it was not my time. It was just this communication between me and the Father."
Despite feeling like it "was not [her] time," Mooney added, "I didn't wanna come back."
"It felt the most peaceful, incredible feeling I had ever felt in my life."

"I couldn’t remember lyrics on stage to save my life. I had to keep an iPad in front of me even for the songs I had just written," she captioned an Instagram post on November 6. "I had headaches all the time. I passed them off as allergies cuz I lived in Nashville and that’s super common. I passed out and broke my nose the year before surgery. My friend @hatefaesthetics set it for me and told me I needed to go get checked out. Did I do that? Nope. lol"
