The Arizona Cardinals are bringing back running back Michael Carter, elevating him to the active roster from the practice squad.
Arizona also announced linebacker Jared Bartlett and cornerback Darren Hall were elevated from the practice squad to the active roster.
Carter played in four games this season for the Cardinals, scoring one touchdown on 35 carries for 97 yards.
He joins a backfield that is still depleted with starter James Conner out for the season with an ankle injury and Trey Benson out with a knee injury.

Last week, in a win over the Dallas Cowboys, offensive coordinator Drew Petzing’s offense relied on Emari Demercado (14 carries, 79 yards) and Bam Knight (9 carries, 27 yards) to lead the ground attack. Neither found paydirt.
The Cardinals will face a different beast in the Seattle Seahawks, who boast the second-best rushing defense in terms of yards allowed this season. The Cowboys rank 27th in the NFL in rush yards allowed.
Defensive injuries allow room for elevations
Hall gets the nod as rookie cornerback Will Johnson and second-year cornerback Max Melton were both ruled out for Sunday’s game.
Hall has played in three games this season, logging 4 total tackles.
Bartlett is a rookie out of Cincinnati. He will be making his NFL debut on Sunday.
