Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man who was found shot at the Ocean Beach Pier shortly after midnight, authorities said Saturday.
Officers responded to a 911 call in the 5000 block of Niagara Avenue at 12:23 a.m. Saturday, when they found the victim shot, according to the San Diego Police Department.
No further details were immediately released, but the SDPD Watch Commander’s Office stated that there is no threat to the community, and additional details were expected to be released later on Saturday.
