Time flies when you're baking up delicious treats, doesn't it? It's almost hard to believe we've hit the 10th episode of The Great British Baking Show 2025, aka the finale. Let's be real, after her many, many wins as Star Baker (five total!), did anyone think the winner of The Great British Baking Show 2025 was going to be someone other than Jasmine? The London-based medical student impressed the judges week after week with her creations. In fact, if Jasmine hadn't won the whole competition, it would have felt positively strange. It was hard to believe that fellow competitors Tom and Aaron stood a chance against her, despite being talented themselves.
"Oh my goodness I am just so overjoyed," she said of her win. "When I was in the middle of exams and trying to bake while I was trying to learn, it’s been so much. But I have done it and I am just so unbelievably happy and to have done it with such an awesome group of people."

What were the challenges for the finale of The Great British Baking Show 2025?
As I mentioned, the judges really kept the contestants on their toes even through the season finale.
The first challenge of the episode (the signature) had the bakers making British iced finger buns. Then, with the technical challenge, the contestants were tasked with crafting a tower of French treats. And then, for the final showstopper, it was all about making the largest cake in the show's history.
Suffice to say, Jasmine ended up "taking the cake" ... and the show's trophy home with her.
