ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Comedy at the Carlson has expanded with a new venue called The Carlson. This new lounge, located next to the comedy club, can host up to 200 guests.
Mark Ippolito, director of operations at The Carlson, said there was a demand for more event space.
“We’re not just comedy – we’re meetings, fundraisers at the Carlson – you imagine and it can happen at the Carlson – it’s a modern bohemian feel that can host casual events as well as elegant gatherings,” said Ippolito.
The Carlson also offers a cocktail menu that honors Rochester’s history with drinks like the “Kodak Moment” and the “Lilac Dream.”
