An updated Chicago Bears injury report ahead of the team’s upcoming Week 10 game against the New York Giants is OUT.
And, in what I would call a pleasant surprise, a whole bunch of injured Bears players were given upgrades. Here is a quick rundown:
NFL WEEK 10: BEARS-GIANTS STORYLINES
Joining Swift in being a full participant on Thursday after being limited in Wednesday’s practice is fellow running back Kyle Monangai, who was dealing with an ankle issue. Phew. More angry runs appear to be in our future. Tight end Cole Kmet (concussion) also practiced in full on Thursday. The Bears injury report is loaded with pleasant surprises. Sep 8, 2025; Chicago, Illinois, USA; Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet (85) makes a catch against the Minnesota Vikings during the second half at Soldier Field. Mandatory Credit: David Banks-Imagn Images Wide receivers DJ Moore (hip, groin) and Rome Odunze (ankle, heel), as well as safety Kevin Byard III (back, ankle) went from not practicing at all on Wednesday to doing so with limitations on Thursday. I’ll feel better about each player’s status if they can receive another upgrade on Friday’s Bears injury report. Defensive tackle Grady Jarrett has gone from not practicing on Wednesday to practicing in full on Thursday. Jarrett was given a veteran’s rest day on Wednesday, so I wasn’t all too worried about his situation.Chicago Bears Injury Report — November 6, 2025
Even though there is some good news to share on the Thursday Bears injury report update, it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows.
For instance, cornerback Josh Blackwell remains in concussion prtocol and did not practice. Linebacker T.J. Edwards (hamstring, hand) also missed a second consecutivve practice. Fellow linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga practiced in full again. His return would be a welcome sight if Edwards can’t give it a go at practice this week. With that being said, hamstring injuries can be tricky. Hopefully, this one won’t linger for too long or cause him to miss a ton of time.
