I am so beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Florida State University!
I just want to say thank you to my family for always being there for me, both in the ups and downs, and @comdiveteam for being such a welcoming environment that truly helped me grow as an athlete and a person! Also thank you to my coach, John, for always being supportive and pushing me past my boundaries.
GO NOLES!!

Samantha Vear was the top placing Seminole woman on 1-meter and 3-meter last season at ACCs, finishing 5th on 1-meter, scoring 303.00, and 6th on 3-meter in 306.70. Kayleigh Clark was the highest finishing Seminole on the platform at ACCs, finishing 8th in 250.80. Both have since graduated and Florida State will be looking for a new ace on the boards, and with Helmboldt’s potential, she could fill that role.
Helmboldt will join Aidyn Reese in the Florida State 2027 recruiting class.
