As THR noted, the comedian has gone on the attorney’s podcast, and Mulaney hosted Katyal, 55, on his Netflix talk show Everybody’s Live earlier this year.
Plus, Katyal and Mulaney are working on a TV project together, with the attorney having revealed some details at the Aspen Ideas Festival earlier in 2025.
“I’m actually writing a television show about the Supreme Court, it’s kind of a West Wing for the Supreme Court,” Katyal said. “I’m writing with John Mulaney, and it’ll be out in a couple of years. But part of the idea is to try and use the arts to spur a conversation about what justice is.”
Mulaney is married to actress Olivia Munn, and they share two kids together. Back in September their daughter Méi turned 1, with Munn, 45, taking to social media to mark the happy occasion.
