During an appearance onJimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday, the Weapons actor opened up about his daughters' love for Taylor Swift, and how it has slowly turned him into a fan of the "Opalite" songstress in quite an unexpected way.

While chatting with Kimmel on the Tuesday, Nov. 4 episode of the late-night program, Brolin talked about being introduced to a whole new world of interests by his two youngest daughters, Westlyn, 7, and Chapel, 4—including the Kpop Demon Hunters movie and musical artists like Olivia Rodridgo, Gracie Abrams, and of course, Swift.
"Every time we go to school, [they ask], 'Can we play Taylor?' Every time we come back, 'Can we play Taylor?' Every time we take a trip, 'Can we play Taylor?'" Brolin, 57, explained.
"And then one day there at school, and I'm driving and I'm by myself. And I suddenly miss, like in my bones, I miss Taylor. Like we had an affair," the No Country For Old Men star admitted, much to the delight of the audience, which erupted in laughter. (It's not clear if Brolin made the reference on purpose, but Swift actually has a lyric where she sings, "You would still miss me in your bones.")
"And I'm like, 'Why do I feel this way?'" Brolin continued. "I feel like there's a loss happening in my life. Like did we break up? And I didn't know what it was."
"And then I turned on Taylor Swift by myself in the car, and I felt whole again," he said with a smile.

Swifties online were instantly happy to welcome Brolin into the fandom, with one Instagram commenter declaring, "He's one of us."
