(The news was first shared in an Instagram post on the official Disney Eats Instagram account, but the post has since disappeared, so fans will definitely want to stay tuned for more updates.)
While much of the progress has been taking place behind construction walls, as the project has gotten closer to completion, it's been easier for visitors to see what's going on, especially while on higher floors of the main building, and many have frequently shared updates on social media.

What We Know About the Grand Floridian's New Birdcage Bar
Back in April, Disney Parks Blog shared the first concept art for the bar (and for the lobby renovation in general).
Here's how Disney has described The Perch: "Inspired by the lobby’s iconic birdcage, the bar will pay tribute to the resort’s Victorian roots with intricate woodwork, stained glass, and brass accents. You may even spot colorful birds in the stained glass and murals throughout the atrium!"
So far, Disney has yet to share an official menu for The Perch, but if the concept art that has been shared of the bar is anything to go off of, it certainly seems like the vibes are going to be very classy.

The current bar at the Grand Floridian, Enchanted Rose, is themed after Beauty & the Beast and will remain open.
