Cedar Point has teased five possible new attractions for the Ohio theme park in a new survey of its biggest fans and the leading contender is the first-of-its-kind roller coaster already under construction at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
Six Flags has surveyed Cedar Point season passholders for their feedback on three roller coasters, a stunt show and a nighttime spectacular being considered for the park, according to the Sandusky Register.
The five survey options:

Magic Mountain announced plans in November 2024 to bolster its collection of 19 roller coasters in 2026 with a new first-of-its-kind thrill ride in North America.
The Los Angeles County Planning Department approved construction permits in January for a new roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain, according to county records.
Blueprints for Project 90011 variously describe the new ride as a “Six Flags Vekoma Coaster” or “Six Flags Thrill Glider Roller Coaster.”

Magic Mountain demolished the former Golden Bear Theater to clear 3.4 acres for the new straddle-style coaster.

The Cedar Point survey could be an indication of Six Flags’ excitement about the new Vekoma Thrill Glider coming to Magic Mountain.
A similar passholder survey conducted by Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo also floated a Vekoma Thrill Glider as a possible new attraction.
The surveys could also be an early warning sign that Six Flags is considering moving the Vekoma Thrill Glider to Cedar Point or Discovery Kingdom and coming up with another project for Magic Mountain.
