The city says residents of the City of Canandaigua, Towns of Hopewell, Farmington, Manchester, Town of Bristol, Town of East Bloomfield, and portions of the Wayne County Water Authority who still have running water are advised to boil all water before consumption until further notice. This includes water for drinking, cooking, or brushing your teeth.
Crews are actively working the water main break, according to the city. The city says crews are also working to learn the cause and restore full service as soon as possible. The city will provide updates as more information becomes available.
