On Nov. 4, the older sister of the 21-year-old Australian conservationist posted a throwback photo to Instagram that showed them posing together when they were young kids. Both Irwins wore “Bindi” shirts as they smiled for the camera, with Bindi leaning against her little brother as he stuffed his hands into the pockets of his cargo pants.
“Be sure to vote for my baby brother on @dancingwiththestars tonight,” Bindi captioned the photo. “He may not be my ‘little’ brother anymore, but he’ll always be about this big in my mind. Love you so much, @robertirwinphotography. You’ve got this.”

In an Instagram video posted in late August, Bindi revealed she had temporarily moved from Queensland, Australia, the home of her family’s conservation work, to Los Angeles.
“G’day guys, I wanted to pop on here and share a little bit of a life update with you," Bindi said in the video. "We have officially moved to Los Angeles. Not forever. It’s for the next three months. Australia Zoo will always be home. But we are here to support my incredible brother on Dancing With the Stars. Oh my goodness!”
After recalling her “life-changing” experience on the ABC dance-off, Bindi added, “And now my little brother is going to be on the show — except he’s not so little anymore. I can’t wait to support him and cheer him on every week in the audience and maybe lend some advice here and there. He is going to shine, though, and I know in my heart that he’s going to make it far because he is such a fantastic human being.”
Robert Irwin also spoke about how much his family’s support in the ballroom meant to him.
“Bindi said, ‘Really lean into this and really savor every second,'” he told Page Six when asked the advice his sister gave him. “She was here the whole time. She made it the whole three months. She won and said it went by in the blink of an eye.”
“My family being here to support [me], to be here on this journey, it means the world. It’s really cool,” the Dancing With the Stars Season 34 contender added.
