The 99th edition of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will feature performances by Gavin DeGraw, Mickey Guyton, Foreigner, Kool & the Gang, Ciara, the Radio City Rockettes, and more.
Foreigner is set to join the Stranger Things crew atop their new Upside Down Invasion: Stranger Things float while Kool & the Gang performs their hit "Celebration" atop the Bronx Zoo's Wondrous World of Wildlife float.
"We're honored to bring our energy and vibe to the Bronx Zoo's float," Robert "Kool" Bell said in a press release. "'Celebration' is the perfect soundtrack to the Bronx Zoo's holiday programming and is a great way to kick off the season at one of New York's most celebrated parks."
Fans will also be delighted by performances by Broadway shows Buena Vista Social Club, Just in Time and Ragtime.
'KPop Demon Hunters' Take the Stage
Popular Netflix film KPop Demon Hunters are taking over New York City.
EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, the singing voices from Netflix’s hit animated film, will be performing during this year's parade. Derpy Tiger and Sussie will also join the parade as a mid-sized balloon and balloonicle, parade organizers announced.
New Floats Set to Join the Macy's Parade
In addition to Derpy Tiger and Sussie, six new floats will join the procession.
The Land of Glaciers, Wildlife & Wonder by Holland America Line®, Brick-tastic Winter Mountain by The LEGO Group, Master Chocolatier Ballroom by Lindt, Upside Down Invasion: Stranger Things by Netflix, Friends-giving in POPCITY by Pop Mart, the makers of Labubu, and The Counting Sheep’s Dream Generator by Serta®, organizers revealed.
Classic balloons from the parade's early years are also set to make a return.
"The talented team at Macy’s Studios will reintroduce and reimagine beloved balloon elements from some of the Parade’s earliest marches, delighting fans of all ages," organizers announced.
As part of the nostalgic revival, Rainbow and Greybow Trouts, the Happy Hippo Triple Stack, Wigglefoot, and Freida the Dachshund by Macy’s in partnership with The Farmer’s Dog will march down the parade route.
Fans can tune in on Thanksgiving morning as TODAY stars Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, and Al Roker host the celebration. The parade begins at 8:30 a.m. on NBC and Peacock
