ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Clear and breezy weather with plenty of sunshine for Election Day. Temps today will top out in the 50s with some gusts around 30mph. Nice weather this evening then some increasing clouds into Wednesday. Our next cold front will arrive during the afternoon with showers and windy weather. Gusts on Wednesday may top 40mph late afternoon and early evening. Behind the front some lake effect showers will develop, and we may see a rumble of thunder.
Thursday will start with some lake clouds and showers then clear for some sunshine with a cool breeze and temps in the 40s. Another front will arrive on Friday with showers later in the day. Behind that front chilly weather moves in over the weekend with some cold conditions early next week. It may be cold enough for some lake effect snow Monday and Tuesday for Veterans Day.
