Arizona State men’s basketball on Saturday received a commitment from three-star forward Seven Spurlock from Dynamic Prep as part of its 2026 class.

The 6-foot-5 forward from Dallas, Texas announced on Overtime Elite Saturday his commitment to play for the Sun Devils as the first commit for ASU’s 2026 class.
“I just felt like it was the best fit for me with the players and the program the past years and I just love the facilities and school. This is just a great opportunity,” Spurlock said.
Spurlock chose ASU over Rutgers on Saturday. Iowa, Houston, Nebraska and Auburn were among several other schools interested in Spurlock.
Spurlock’s commitment comes as head coach Bobby Hurley has one year remaining on his contract.
