ROCHESTER, N.Y. – We’ll have more clouds and a little more lake effect rain showers for Saturday, but the showers will be constrained to areas southeast of the lake; namely Wayne County and northeastern Monroe County. Showers should quit by this afternoon and evening, with mostly cloudy skies becoming partly cloudy and temperatures peaking just under 50 degrees. Winds will be noticeable but not hazardous today, with peak gusts late this morning/early this afternoon up to 25-30 MPH.
Sunday is looking much better. Perfect football weather. A cold start in the mid thirties, but plenty of sun in the forecast with calm winds. We’ll get up a little above 50 degrees.
Showers return late Monday, as does the wind; that wind continues through Tuesday but we’ll have a break in the rain then. More rain on Wednesday.
