The Denver Broncos released their final injury report ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Houston Texans. While we know they’ll be without Patrick Surtain II, they’ll also be without one of their best offensive and special teams weapons in Marvin Mims and two other players.
Mims was ruled out of Sunday’s game with a concussion and did not practice all week long, working on the team’s side field as he went through the NFL’s Concussion Protocol. The hope is that he can clear some hurdles early next week and return against the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday Night Football next week, but that will remain to be seen.
Surtain, tight end Nate Adkins (knee), were non-participants on Friday.
Adkins, Ben Powers, Drew Sanders, and Michael Burton were all spotted on the team’s side field.
Linebacker Dre Greenlaw (quad) was a full participant all week long and has no game status and is ready to roll vs. the Texans.
Safety P.J. Locke (neck) was limited Wednesday and Thursday, but was downgraded to being a non-participant Friday and was ruled out.
After appearing on the injury report on Thursday with an ankle injury, backup center Alex Forsyth was limited on Friday, but has no game status.
