ROCHESTER, N.Y. — News10NBC continues to monitor the ongoing payroll issues at the Rochester City School District, which started in the summer.
The president of the Rochester Teachers Assoication Adam Urbanski said the district has fixed most of the errors where too much money was being taken out of paychecks for health benefits.
However, some employees have still not been paid for work completed during the summer, he said.
This update followed a school board meeting where RCSD employees pleaded for solutions. One employee said they “need to get need to get rid of this broken system,” while another said they couldn’t believe they still are asking to be paid.

News10NBC reached out to the district for comment this morning and is still awaiting a response.
On Thursday, News10NBC’s Marsha Augustin spoke with Superintendent Dr. Eric Rosser, who said him and his team are considering a plan B for the payroll system.
