The Knicks’ top big man and one of the NBA’s most imposing bodies in the paint, the seven-footer has yet to suit up for the team this season. The Knicks have listed him as questionable to make his debut this evening, but all signs seem to point toward Robinson getting the green light.
New York has already allowed the fourth-fewest points in the paint this season, so welcoming back Robinson is only going to bolster this department. That could be concerning news for a Bulls team that has relied heavily on the rim to begin the year. They are averaging the most points in the paint thus far, thanks to their excellent ball movement and transition speed.
For what it’s worth, two other players do appear on the Knicks’ injury report but are both listed as probable. Karl-Anthony Towns is dealing with a quad strain, while backup big man Guerschon Yabusele is also probable with a knee sprain.
