The Young and the Restless has yet again brought back a villain character from the dead, and fans are sounding off on it.
Friday’s cliffhanger featured Sharon (Sharon Case) running into another evil villain from her past, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). The character is not a favorite at all after the hell he put Sharon and Nick (Joshua Morrow) through back in the day.

Twenty-five years ago, Matt supposedly died, but in true soap fashion, that isn’t the case. Soap icon Howarth is tackling the role, which was kept secret until the big reveal.
The Young and the Restless fans have a lot of thoughts on the whole Matt twist and bringing on Howarth to play the character. X has been on fire with fans going off to share their two cents.
One fan listed all the characters that have returned to the CBS soap lately to express dislike for the continued trend. “From Cole, Ian and Jordan to Daniel and Heather, Danny and Cricket to Cameron, Martin, Cane and now Matt #YR has been bringing back old GC residents all year.
