Minister of Awqaf (Religious Endowments) Mohammad Abu Al-Kheir Shukri held talks, Friday, with his Indonesian counterpart Nasaruddin Umar, on ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the fields of religious endowments, Islamic preaching, and religious education.
During their meeting in the Indonesian capital Jakarta, both ministers stressed the importance of collaboration in religious and academic fields, the exchange of expertise in managing Islamic affairs, and the development of preaching and administrative work.
The two sides affirmed the need to boost shared values between the two friendly nations and to deepen Syrian-Indonesian relations in religious and cultural domains.
