Volvo Construction Equipment (CE) has announced an improvement in sales and operating income in the fourth quarter of 2020 while reporting a decline in net sales for the full year owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. The construction equipment giant said in a statement that despite a steep drop in demand in the first half of the year due to the pandemic, it recovered well, delivering improvements by Q4 2020. Net sales in the last quarter of last year increased by 6% to SEK20,810m. Adjusted for currency movements net sales were up by 15%.
