THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. (KUNA) – Un excursionista con heridas leves fue rescatado hoy en el inicio del sendero Pushawalla Palms en Thousand Palms.
El rescate se reportó alrededor de las 2 p.m. del jueves en el Refugio Nacional de Vida Silvestre del Valle de Coachella, cerca de las carreteras Ramon y Thousand Palms Canyon, según el Departamento de Bomberos del Condado de Riverside.
La agencia informó que los equipos de rescate caminaron hasta donde se encontraba el excursionista, quien no pudo regresar por el sendero, y fue trasladado a un hospital local en ambulancia terrestre.
Su estado se mantiene estable, indicó el departamento.
Se desconoce la causa de las heridas.
