Waves of rain will move through Rochester and the Finger Lakes region into Thursday night. Rain will be locally heavy at times, Thankfully, no widespread flooding is expected but any outdoor plans will be impacted. Wind will pick up this afternoon with gusts to 30mph. Windswept showers and cold rain ahead will bring around an inch for much of the area with localized totals closer to two inches. In the long term this is beneficial to helping out our severe drought, but will make for a miserable day and night ahead.
