Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) has awarded Petrofac two contracts worth approximately $300m. The first is a direct engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for PDO’s Marmul Main Production Station (MMPS) – Gas Compression project, while the second is a project delivery contract. According to a statement, the scope of work for the first, lump-sum turnkey contract spans 30-months and includes EPC, commissioning, start-up and initial operational support.
